All of us are hard-working and active women, and I would assume that the majority of us have to carry around some type of device- laptop, iPad/tablet, smartphone, etc., on a daily basis.
This week’s post is about making sure that your laptop device is protected while looking stylish at the same time. I go crazy over fun laptop cases. I love to switch them up and change the one I use every now and then. As busy women on the go, having a case, sleeve or bag that protects our investment while keeping us looking stylish is a must!
Here are my Top 7 Picks:
1) Neoprene Sleeve Plus (Incase, $39.95)
I really love this sleeve by Incase. I own one in the hot pink and it has such a great, soft liner that I know my computer has no chance of getting scratched. It is thin enough that it can fit into a tote bag, but heavy enough that you feel as though your computer is protected. There are a bunch of color options and while this particular model is for a 13-inch laptop, they have variations of this sleeve for a 15-inch and a 17-inch computer.
2) Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C. Laptop Case ($250)
This laptop bag is genuine leather with really natural looking snake embossing. This case is definitely on the pricier side, but I want to have a bunch of different options for everyone. I think this bag is SO cute, and would be perfect for any DC Lady that cannot fit her laptop in her already over-stuffed handbag.
3) 15” Protective Sleeve (Incase, $59.95)
Like the other Incase sleeve, there are different variations of this sleeve in different sizes. Incase has awesome Andy Warhol designs if you are looking for something a bit more fun and different. I love the Andy Warhol banana!
4) SeeThru SATIN for MacBook Air (Speck, $49.95)
I own a MacBook Air and I love it, but am always worried I will scratch the surface. One of these satin covers that snaps into place on the top and bottom of your compute and stays in place at all times, would be great for anyone who owns an Air. It is thin enough that you still have the “Air feel” but offers protection from scrapes. I like how your headphone and USB ports are still available for use with this case. The shell comes in a variety of solid colors and also comes in MacBook pro sizes as well.
5) Laptop Case (Diane Von Furstenberg, $150)
DVF too has some great laptop cases for 15-inch laptops. They have this cool “polka leopard camel” a more silver version of the above and then a chain link pattern in black and white. The case has leather tassels so the zipper is easy to find and also has an inside pocket so you can carry some documents along with your laptop. Great idea!
6) 15” Laptop Bag (LeSportsac, $62-68)
A more reasonable priced “bag” option is this cool laptop bag from LeSportsac. It has a zipper closure and a front packet as well. It has a great tote handle and then a longer strap for options on the go. This bag has a few varieties in patterns and they also have a 17” laptop bag on their website as well. I love this flower design, it can go with anything. I also appreciate the pockets on the inside and the outside of the bag.
7) Pretty Nylon 13” Computer Commuter (Marc by Marc Jacobs, $118)
Marc by Marc Jacobs has one of the largest varieties of tech accessories available. I love their bags and sleeves for laptops, they have so many! I think this one is great. The shorter straps and then the longer, adjustable strap are very useful and convenient. The color is amazing- this particular bag also comes in a hot pink. This might be my next laptop bag!
